Grandma's Garden

“Grandma's Garden” was composed the night of my grandmother’s passing. The little garden outside her porch door influenced the main motif of this piece. The garden was beautiful in its simplicity. The major palette of colors sounded by the two woodwinds reflect the flying insect, the many colors of the garden’s flowers, and the raw emotions felt when I am reminded of her.
